Esports Camps FAQs

  • With our esports and STEM camps, campers play 2-3 different games to keep it interesting and fun. The games we choose will be determined by the interest expressed from kids as we are asking each camper what games they are interested in upon registration. Campers will only play games rated for their age.

Games include, but are not limited to: Fortnite, Valorant, Minecraft, Rocket League, Fall Guys, Roblox, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, TF2, Overwatch, LOL, CS:GO, COD, War Thunder, Among Us, Crab Game, & many more favorites.

For our game specific camps, players will only be playing their respective game.

  • We have everything they need for gaming at camp. They basically just have to show up and bring a water bottle. If they already are comfortable with esports on a PC and have peripherals like a special mouse or headphones, they are welcome to bring them. If not, we have pro-level gaming equipment and peripherals that our campers can use and everything will be sanitized after each use.

Please note that DEL is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

  • We will do our best to accommodate special requests where siblings can be separated or kept together. We only have 20 kids at camp at a time and will be putting campers in groups based on their ages and gaming interests.

  • Yes, we believe everyone deserves camp! We provide financial assistance to those with a passion and need. Through generous donations made by individual donors, corporations, and foundations we are able to offer financial aid to those who qualify. While a scholarship is not guaranteed we do our best to accommodate and take into consideration each family that applies.

  • No refunds will be permitted. If full payment is not received, a late fee of $25 (per camper) will be assessed, and the application will be placed on the waiting list for that session. All fees must be paid prior to camp arrival. There will be a $25 fee for all returned checks.

  • The Camp Director reserves the right to dismiss any camper whose behavior affects his/her ability to participate or is detrimental to the members of the camp. No refund will be made for absences, dismissals, or withdrawals before the end of the session. DEL is a drug-free campus, and any camper caught smoking, vaping, drinking alcohol, or participating in any other illegal activity on or around our location will be immediately dismissed from camp, no refund will be made, and authorities will also be notified.

  • Where health and safety are an issue, at the discretion of the Camp Director, programs and activities may be canceled or postponed at any time due to inclement weather or other unanticipated circumstances of a serious matter as they arise with no refund provided.
