Be a part of Dubuque Esports League’s Farmcraft® 2024 Teams!
If you are in 4th-8th grade and love Minecraft, you do not want to miss this!

What is Farmcraft?

Farmcraft is an educational program that uses Minecraft to enhance the understanding of the challenges faced by agricultural producers and distributors worldwide.

Farmcraft is a challenge using the popular game of Minecraft. It focuses on agricultural problems, tools and technologies for farmers, ways to increase crop yields, food trade, and food security. Participants will join a virtual challenge while learning about the choices that farmers must make before even planting their crops!

Our season will kick off on March 4 for grades 6-8 and March 9 for grades 4-5. All participants are granted access to a modified version of Minecraft that models real-world farming conditions, supply chains, and food availability.  The participants are presented with specific challenges throughout the season that teach the lesson objectives.  All challenges must be completed to be eligible for awards at the end of the program. The 1st place team will be showcased on the NASEF/DEL websites, get official Farmcraft® Certificates and will receive a $500 Amazon Gift Card. The winners will be announced during an awards show on April 25, 2024.
