Middle School Esports Program

1st Semester: September - December

2nd Semester: January - May

Middle School Video Game Club

Cost: $100 for each semester.

This is a non-competitive video game club designed for students who enjoy gaming in a relaxed and social environment.

Schedule:
Tuesdays | 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Attendance is casual—students can attend when they are available.

Middle School Competitive League

The Competitive League begins in April and runs for 6 weeks.

Schedule:

• Monday: Competition | 3:30 – 5:30 PM

• Thursday: Practice | 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Students will be coached and compete against other middle schools across Iowa through the Middle School Iowa Esports Association.

2nd Semester League Games:

• Mario Kart

• Rocket League

There is no cost to participate in the league, as students represent DCSD.
However, attendance at practices and competitions is required. Fundraising opportunities will be encouraged to help support the league.
